The Australasian Mastocytosis Society (TAMS)

Scott has generously partnered with The Australasian Mastocytosis Society (TAMS) to capture its annual light up and national awareness campaign #SpotOurSpots for International Mastocytosis and Mast Cell Diseases Day in the A.C.T for two years now.

Scott has an incredible eye for capturing architectural, night-time photography. His long exposure photography is also adored by our community. Both in 2020 and 2021 Scott has given TAMS an outstanding album of photographs which have been circulated throughout both the TAMS community and internationally, across 24 other participating countries organisations.

The passion Scott has for his work, along with his genuine care for our cause is obvious in each and every photograph he takes. His photographs have truly inspired both a sense of great hope and recognition across our global community. They have even bolstered a sense of competition to improve the light up initiatives in other countries, as his photographs capture what words simply can’t for what awareness days can mean for otherwise underrepresented communities like TAMS and our disease group.

As the Advocacy Chair, and member of the committee involved in organising the 2020 and 2021 events I was fortunate to be able to work with Scott directly both years. He is not just a talented photographer but a truly incredible, intelligent, and compassionate person. From our first interaction I could see how sincere he was, and we established a great rapport. Scott has been active, helpful and enthusiastic in all of our interactions since, and I could not be more proud to have been able to work with him on making these events possible.

As a community TAMS are truly thankful for Scott’s ongoing support.
